Free Kitchen Hardware Planning Tool

Kitchen Cabinet Handle Visualizer

Planning a kitchen renovation? Use our free handle visualizer to see exactly which handles, knobs, and pulls you need — before you buy. Upload your cabinet maker's elevation drawing or use our demo kitchen to get started in seconds.

How It Works

1. Set up your layout — Enter your kitchen dimensions or use our sample layout. Add doors, drawers, and cabinets to match your floor plan. Choose from flat panel or shaker door styles.

2. Assign hardware — Drag handles, pulls, or knobs from the palette onto each cabinet. Click any placed hardware to fine-tune the position, change the type, or pick a different size. The tool automatically recommends the correct centre-to-centre (CTC) measurement based on your cabinet width.

3. Get your shopping list — View every handle, pull, and knob you need in one place with exact quantities, sizes, and prices. Filter by finish — from Matte Black and Brushed Nickel to Brushed Brass and Antique Copper — then click through to order directly.

Why Use the Handle Visualizer?

Avoid costly mistakes. Ordering the wrong size handle is one of the most common kitchen renovation mistakes. Our tool checks that the handle centre-to-centre measurement fits your door or drawer, so every piece arrives ready to install.

See the full picture. Instead of guessing from product photos, you can place hardware directly on a scale drawing of your kitchen and see how handles, pulls, and knobs look across the entire elevation.

Save time on quotes. Share your completed shopping list with your builder or cabinet maker so everyone is on the same page — no back-and-forth emails about sizes and quantities.

Common Questions

What is centre-to-centre (CTC)?
CTC is the distance between the two screw holes on a handle or pull. It's the most important measurement when choosing cabinet hardware — the handle must match the hole spacing on your door or drawer.

How do I know what size handle to order?
Our tool recommends the best CTC size based on each cabinet's width. For drawers, a handle roughly one-third the width of the drawer front is a popular choice. For doors, placement depends on your style — our visualizer lets you try different options instantly.

Can I mix handles, pulls, and knobs?
Absolutely. Many kitchens use bar handles on drawers and knobs on doors, or pulls on larger drawers with handles on smaller ones. The visualizer lets you assign different hardware to each cabinet so you can experiment freely.
